music.
In 1932, in 12 years he already executed "Rondo alla Turca" by W.A. Mozart and the
overture to G. Bizet's opera "Carmen". He played all compositions on hearing; sometimes
even it was necessary to change original tonalities because of the limited range
of the instrument. In 1932 in Sverdlovsk there held Olympiad of children's amateur
performances. Vladimir has participated there with great success - he became the
winner, and in the award the organizing committee of Olympiad has granted his treasured
desire, - to him have bought the new instrument.
At that time he was frequently invited to evenings of dances where foreign modern
dances sounded: pas de quatre, pas d' Espagne, waltz-boston, foxtrot Vladimir very

By then Vladimir already worked in workers club. In 1939 he was accepted in ensemble,
and he has left in structure of this collective to go on tour to Yaroslavl In 1940

of an accordion in Tallinn, Vladimir has met with familiar of Ensemble of songs
and dancings of RSFSR which has informed him that the set of bayan players in new
ensemble is made under the direction of I.O. Dunaevsky. The idea on work in this
ensemble did not leave Vladimir. Soon he started service in the Central ensemble
of navy fleet (or as it then named, Ensemble of five seas).
After the beginning of war the ensemble has transferred the base to Moscow. April,
1, 1942 over Ladoga lake collective evacuated from Leningrad, two weeks emaciated

of the big formation - Theatre of the Baltic Fleet consisting of drama theatre,
a jazz and ensemble (chorus, an orchestra, dancing group). In 1944 in Leningrad

the base to Tallinn, then Baltijsk (Kaliningrad) and, at last, to Klaipeda. In Baltijsk
