History of music knows many cases when some of its true and devoted servants and their musical heritage have been titled as a phenomenon of great importance. Among them there is Ivan Adamovych Yashkevych, 1923-2000, a symbol of pedagogic and composing craftsmanship, a brilliant representative of Ukrainian folk instrumental art.

Ivan A. Yashkevych is an author of world-known concert transcriptions of both home and foreign classic music. His original, pedagogically oriented compositions are commonly popular and widely used.

Because of some reasons, mainly due to absence of printed music materials, a very interesting cycle of music pieces composed to play with a left hand on a special accordion and bayan keyboard is still in "shadow," beyond the attention of music teachers and students. As far as we know there is no music material like this among accordion and bayan literature.

We present twelve music pieces of this cycle. They might be used as an instructional basis to master a playing on special accordion and bayan keyboard.
