Aleksandr Pavlovich Sapalov, an honored artist of Russian Federation, was born on October 26, 1949 in the town of Blagoveshchensk,
Amur region, Russian Federation. He is a famous musician, performer and pedagogue.
In 1968 he has completed the full course of
studies at the Blagoveshchensk musical school (classes by a music teacher B.V. Demkin), and in 1975 he graduated from a state
conservatoire in the city of Astrakhan (classes by a music teacher Yu.D. Tarasov). Since 1975 until 1982 he was a music teacher
at the Blagoveshchensk musical school, since 1982 he was a soloist of the Amur regional philharmonic society, and since 1997 until
2003 he was its art director.
As a member of different concert groups, he toured many times to China and South Korea. He was
a winner of the fourth all-Russian competition of folk instrument performers in the city of Gorky (1990).
Many of his compositions
were recorded by all-Union recording studio Melody and all-Russian broadcasting service. He wrote for publishing houses of Musical
Ukraine in the city of Kiev, Ukraine (1980-1984), World of Notes in the city of Kurgan, Russian Federation (1999) and Ralph Jung
Music Publishing Company in the city of Meppen, Germany (2004).
